Hello, I am Mrs. Khalandi and the picture to the right is a picture of my husband and I on our wedding day. You might point out that I look extremely happy in the picture and I agree, I was very happy and excited that day.

I am originally from Iran (Persia). My family and I moved here in 1997 and I have been living here in Kansas City ever since. I have three wonderful sisters that I love dearly.

I graduated from UMKC in May 2007 with my Bachelor's in Secondary Education with emphasis in Biology. I am currently seeking my Master's in Instructional Design and Technology at Emporia University.

I student taught at Shawnee Mission North High school and fell in love with the students and the school. After my student teaching, I applied and got a job for the next year. This year is my second year teaching Biology at Shawnee Mission North High school.
