The Klassy Kat Dance Team is a spirit group that performs at high school sporting events. In addition to the sporting events the Klassy Kats perform with the band in the fall field show and with the drum line at their spring concert.

The Klassy Kats attend the NDA dance camp at Emporia State University. The 2005-2006 Klassy Kats received the following individual awards: 14 Superior Ribbons, 3 Superior Showmanship Merit Ribbons, 3 Spirit Award Merit Ribbons, 2 Technical Excellence Ribbons, 1 Special Event Invite Ribbons4 All-American Nominees, 1 All-American Team Member. Team awards included: Home Routine Superior Rosette, Officer Home Routine Superior Rosette, Team Dance Superior Rating, Team Dance Gold Plaque, Team Leader: Circle of Winners Gold Rating, Technical Excellence Certificate, Technical Excellence Trophy, Sprit Stick, Bid to the NDA National Dance Championship.

The Klassy Kats participated in the Sunflower Dance and Cheer festival at Concordia. The 2005-2006 Klassy Kats received the following awards: Sweepstakes Award for overall performance as well as judges’ awards for outstanding showmanship, technique, choreography and precision performance.  Several individual awards were also received.  The small ensemble hip-hop group won the judges’ awards for outstanding choreography and precision performance for their routine.  The captains won the judges’ award for outstanding technique and the Officer Award of Excellence for their officer routine.  The duet received an award for achieving the highest score for their duet routine.  Finally, the soloist was awarded the Champion Solo award for achieving the highest score for her individual routine.
